Neither proves deployment against design. The cable leaves the building, and from here on the record is whatever someone wrote down or photographed, with nothing tying it to where or when. Unverifiable evidence has become good enough. It shouldn't be.

STEP 02 · THE FIX IS PHYSICAL

A tag on the asset itself. Not a note about it.

LOC is Label on a Cable: a ruggedized NFC tag fitted to the thing you built. This pole, that cable, the vault beneath the road. Each tag carries a unique ID linked to your design record, and any smartphone can read it. One tag, binding the physical asset to its digital record.

STEP 02 · THE SCAN

A scan is proof a person stood at that asset, at that moment.

At the pole, the engineer taps the tag. One touch captures it all: who, when and where, a stamped photo or video, the workflow state. The record writes itself while the engineer is still standing at the asset.
